Temporary exhibitions often require significant resources, including bespoke materials tailored to each event. At the Wellcome Collection’s Milk exhibition, Smile Materials’ semi-translucent Spectra material was installed to create flexible, short-term spaces with a circular approach to design.  Its use in the exhibition contributed to the creation of a slatted wall and surface finishes for plinths and signage, seamlessly integrating sustainability with aesthetic appeal. By choosing Spectra, the exhibition showcased how recycled plastic materials can be transformed into functional and visually compelling elements, reducing waste and promoting environmental responsibility through closed-loop material selection.
