Black Dapple
Made from: Chopping boards and plastic packaging
We think this beauty looks like a cross-section of marble. The intense black colour of its base contrasts with the weave of white veins. Playful yet sophisticated, Dapple’s high contrast pattern gives it a lively personality that evokes the material’s millions of years of biological, geological and manmade processes.
Available in thicknesses of 12mm and 20mm.

Pattern Examples
We produce our Core materials in batches of 5-10 tonnes.
The ratio of colours and/or the exact colour may vary slightly between batches.
If you need to minimise colour variation, please discuss your needs with us before ordering, so we can ensure all your products come from the same batch.
Pattern example images are for illustrative purposes only. We recommend purchasing a sample to experience the colour, pattern, and texture of the material.

How it’s made
From sourcing and sorting raw materials to forming panels and finishes, every step is carefully considered, and often done by hand. We work with a range of waste streams, with a particular focus on plastics due to their environmental impact.
Our factory setup is intentionally low-impact, using a fraction of the energy required by conventional plastics machinery, and we prioritise local suppliers wherever we can. We produce a core range of large-format panels and collaborate closely with clients on custom aesthetics or performance needs. Behind the scenes, we’re always experimenting; pushing boundaries with new materials and methods to expand what’s possible in circular design.
